Note: 64 bit will have a filename of amd64, this will work on Intel processors, don&#8217;t worry about it.<\/p>\n<p>Step 2.<\/p>\n<p>Download <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pendrivelinux.com\/downloads\/Universal-USB-Installer\/Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.8.3.exe\">this<\/a> universal USB installer from pendrivelinux.com.<\/p>\n<p>Step 3.<\/p>\n<p>Partition your drive using disk management. To do this, pop open run by pressing win+R, and type diskmgmt.msc.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-70\" src=\"https:\/\/zineausa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/diskmgmt.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"394\" height=\"203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zineausa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/diskmgmt.png 394w, https:\/\/zineausa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/diskmgmt-300x155.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 394px) 100vw, 394px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We partitioned our 120GB flashdrive (you only need 8GB or so though) in the following manner.<\/p>\n<p>First partition is 12 gigs for the bootable kali instance (this is the only one you need). Yes, FAT32 will work best for the bootable section of this drive.<\/p>\n<p>The second partition is for us to store files when we are livebooting.. use FAT32 or exFAT for this partition (since linux doesn&#8217;t play well with NTFS).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-586\" src=\"https:\/\/zineausa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/fat32.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"574\" height=\"103\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zineausa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/fat32.png 574w, https:\/\/zineausa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/fat32-300x54.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 574px) 100vw, 574px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Step 4.<\/p>\n<p>Run the universal USB installer with the following options. NOTE: Be sure to not check any of the formatting options or it will format the entire volume again, wiping all of your partitions.
